Lawyers are very busy persons and they tend to have excellent writing and story-telling skills. They can utilize these skills along with their skill of persuasion to the fullest extent afterall they are the professionals who stands with confidence and poise to present a strong and effective claim in the courtroom or outside. They are the voices of truth and justice, and come prepared after months of research and development. Beside courtroom dramas and legal advising one another thing which really can help a lawyer grow, connect and reach the right people is by creating a Legal Blog and blogging regularly on range of targeted topics which he has better grip on. In India Lawyers are forbidden from advertising and as such blogging is an unique opportunity to gain more exposure in the targeted field. One cannot mistake to think that the entire range of the blogging audience is the potential clients, who will hire them. However, the blogging lawyer’s audience would actually consists of the following: 

1. Fellow Lawyers, advocates, attorneys. 
2. Potential clients.
3. Interns.
4. Students of law, teachers and professors. 
5. Research analysts. 
6. Journalists researching a story 
7. Judges 

One important thing in blogging is that while writing your blogs, one should think of who you want to be the reader of a particular article and or targeting a particular audience. Knowing who to write for is just as important as knowing what to write.
Here are few blog ideas for lawyers to help them reach the right people:

There are laws and order everywhere, we all are part of it.

awareness among the people.

We should remind ourselves that apart from the law
of the state there are several other laws of the universe.
1. Laws of divine oneness. [Everything is connected]
2. Laws of Vibration. [Everything has its frequency]
3. Laws of attraction.[What is like unto itself is drawn]
 4. Laws of correspondence.[As above so below]
5. Laws of action.[Manifestation requires aligned action]
 6. Laws of cause and effect.[Every action has a consequence]
7. Laws of compensation. [we are rewarded for right action]
8. Laws of perpetual transmutation of energy.
[Energy is always moving and changing]
9. Laws of relativity. [Its all relative]
10. Laws of polarity.[There are two sides to everything]
11. Law of Rhythm. [Nothing is permanent]
12. Laws of gender. [Everything has its gender].

1. Burst Legal Myths Some people believe that wearing slippers while riding a motor cycle are prohibited by law. If you’ve heard any such myths over the years of your practice, you can address them in blog posts. Targeting these posts specifically for common search terms can help lawyers reach the right people. There is always a chance that the people searching to know about these myths.

2. Read the news. One of the most simple idea, that is always trending is reading the current news, or write something a detailed article quoting other news portals. Current and trending news have always been a hot topics for the masses to relate to and know about.

3. Guide Steps. Step by steps guides are some of the most popular blog posts online. Since lawyers know a lot more about how the public offices work or let’s say a detailed procedure to apply for a license, leave, permission, certificate etc from a public authority. These can be of great effect because there are always people who are looking for the simplest procedures about all such things. So, take a subject and break it down into a simple task list that can be followed easily by readers. For example, you could create a post entitled, “What Should I Do if I’ve Been Charged for assault” Or: “How to file for bankruptcy”, “How to apply for a Trade License”, “How to write a Tenancy Agreement” How to obtain Divorce? etc. These are also good for search engine optimisation.

4. Answer the Common Questions. There are many common question which goes around in our head and many simple things which we never thought of and addressing them at greater length in blog posts. Lawyers can reach the right people by utilizing the right keywords that get searched most by his targeted audience. Frequently asked Questions or FAQs can also be used to build trust and provide your clients with a path toward a solution. Make a “question of the Day” and answer your that questions submitted.

5. Blog about recent changes in Law. Lawyers are equipped with tools to know and understand about the recent changes in law that have occurred in his state, you could post a blog about them to showcase your knowledge to potential clients. For example, you could create a blog post covering and discussing the amendments to the fiscal laws every year at the time of Budget. States usually publish this type of information publicly, you could also put links to the state websites.

6. Offer insight of a lawyer’s mind. Offering insights into their practice areas can help lawyers reach the right people. Suppose I am a corporate lawyer and I want potential corporates to come to me for advice on any corporate issue. So, better to target those people and issues, write an detailed extreme insight view of the point of law, let your readers know that you really know your shit and people want to read confident things. You could cover specific legal battle going on or already done. Offering insight into legal mind and court room dramas is a positive way to establish credibility with your readers. Moreover, it is a powerful way to address specific search terms. Further, revealing a little bit about how you operate in court can expose potential clients to your expertise. Most people may not know how a lawyer fights a case until they have a consultation and choose to retain the lawyer. You can show your audience the Legal Strategy Breakdowns of any litigation or other legal matter or do a behind a scene of your workplace. People like to feel like they know you.

7. Discuss Case Studies. Write a blog about your successful case. It is a great way to build trust and it shows that you are successful in your area of practice. Further, You can also chose other legal battle and discuss about the legal intricacies therein. You can also segregate different law subjects and deal exclusively in those in different blogs.

8. Give Legal Advice. You can use your expertise in your practice area to reach the potential client, generate blog posts about your specific practice areas. That way your clients can find some of the answers they are looking for. When writing blog posts, remember that the goal is to gain exposure and attract new client by helpful and informative blogs, or by addressing a question that you have the answer for. Whatever the business law blog topics, a targeted, well-maintained blog will always help lawyers reach the right people.

However, I think you can also try shortlisting prospective clients and prepare yourselves with the are areas of laws that they might have to deal with, thereafter, try seeking appointments with the person of charge, showcase your knowledge and skills. This was you will surely able to bag few clients.
